These are really great results, especially if they're your first coin pics. They're a whole lot better than my first results.

Thanks guys... Really it's the camera equipment and reading everyone's advice... The only addition I did to this setup was add a milk jug that I cut about two inches off the top and bottom and I use it to difuse my light.

Seriously though... It's the setup and the computer doing all the work, all I have to do is focus it and adjust the lighting... Good equipment really helped out a lot... I can't tell you guys how helpful Ray was to me! He had more ideas and option for me than I could have ever imagined!

You said you added a milk jug diffuser. I have heard of this. Not sure how to use it. Are you supposed to have it surround coin and take pic straight down from cut off top? Or are you supposed to attach to lens somehow?
Anyone got pics of one in use?

I'll try and take pics of the setup tomorrow.. I have had some pointers given to me on its use but I'll show you where I'm at right at this moment... But to answer your question; yes I surround the coin and shoot through the milk jug that has a hole on top and bottom

Ok I will try that. BTW great looking set-up and pics...kinda jealous. Planning on putting together a home made close-up photo booth. Right now I just got tripod with 3 desk lights (2 OTT 1 halogen) on table.
