Your 1955 Cent appears to have a ding from circulation below the Lincoln portrait, fairly common coin. We would need a closeup on the date to look for any doubling.

I think if it were the DD, we would see evidence of it in (for example} the sharp-appearing "In God We Trust", so I'm guessing it's not.
