Hello all. I bought the pictured Capped Bust half dollar recently. I am aware that it has 2 dings on the obverse and has probably been cleaned. I have done a little work on Overton attribution and I would like the Capped Bust Half experts to verify my findings. I am attributing this coin as Overton 0-106b.
In the spirit of full disclosure, I will be looking to sell this coin on ebay in the coming weeks. I am posting here for the purpose of verifying that it is an Overton 0-106b. I am not trying to solicit offers

Honestly, it doesn't matter what the Overton is for this coin.

It has been brutally cleaned and has what appears to be two partial holes showing on the obverse. Those are not dings - they are holes, or at least someones poor attempt to make holes.

With those major problems I sincerely doubt you'll get more than $30 for this, no matter what the Overton is. In fact, if I were you, I'd feel like $30 was a great price.
