This is my 7070 type coin for the later Seated dime. It's a detector find so it has a few scratches but it must've been lost early in its life. The pictures aren't the best but they do show the contrast ok, especially on the reverse. Anyone know if there's a way to tell if this is a proof or not? Thanks

Appears to be a circulation strike. If it were a proof the letters in the legends and numbers in the date would be sharp and not rounded.
Rest in Peace

Not a proof. As Westernsky mentioned, there is rounding rather than sharp clear separation from the fields on the devices and the peripheries.

Still an absolutely lovely find. I just love circulation cameo coins.

There are 3 die pairs used to strike proofs for this year F-101, F-130 and F-131. http://www.seateddimevarieties.com/...1varpage.htm
