I would be very tempted (due to lower pricing) and would also be very careful in buying one of these in such condition.
My first thought would be:
How could I prove to myself that it was not a fake, where all of the critical detail has been removed to hide what could be the possible the work of the faker?

Thanks! But when I print the form, I need to write the variety. Which I can't tell.

I posted that the variety was an O-105 or going by Tompkins new book a T-25. This is the only obverse die showing both the characteristics I mentioned before. It was also only used in this marriage, so it can only be an O-105/T-25.

Since AcesKings gave you the variety, I think it would be a lot of fun to add the variety to the form, and pay the attribution fee, and see what happens.

What might happen if I send it in and write O-105/T-25 under the variety column?

Along with writing the O-105/T-25, include the $7 variety verification fee with your submission, and ANACS will add the variety to the label on the holder. No need to include the variety research fee since AcesKings already kindly did that for you.

There are a lot more collectors that DO NOT have one of these than there are ones who do have one.

Grade may be low, but you have one, and it's not an unlovable example.

I would love to have that coin!

Boy, that's a nice one you have there coinlover1899. Your P01 is far superior to my P01 that I've used on the golf course as a ball marker.

I took it out of my coin pouch when I placed it on the fringe of a green and left it there after our scramble team dropped a big putt. A hole later I went back and there it was.

In the coin pouch ball marker category this coin beats the current ebay competition. 1795 halves worse than this are priced at $500 and up.

UPDATE: The coin arrived at ANACS yesterday and they sent me an email that said they received it.

I can't wait to see what grade it comes out as!
