I split this post about a dime out of the thread you had about Lincoln wheat cents. Members that are experts about Dimes may not open your thread about wheat cents.


The dime just looks dirty.

I found a dime like that (or a little darker )mixed with the pennies in a roll , for one second I thought was a error but then I realized the color looks like as old pennies .

Thank you in appreciate the help by putting in right listing for me. Also the picture just don't give the dime justice, I'll be still holding on to it, something says to not get rid of it.

It's simply spent some time in or on the ground and has toned naturally for that environment. You may certainly choose to save it, but it will never be worth more than a dime in our lifetimes.

Possibly a metal detecting find that was tumbled with some cents.
