As Metalman said, this is an undervalued series. Coins with potential for investment growth can be had for a pittance. They are also not easy to grade. The difference between AU and MS can be a hard line to see if you're inexperienced.
I would recommend finding one at a local coin shop. Look for the highest grade with Full Bell Lines (FBL) that you can afford if dates aren't important to you. Here's an example of FBL on a 1952 in my collection:
