I guess I'm a parade-rainer because I just aint seeing that coin as DDO. Havent we seen MD far more radical than that?

Definitely a doubled die. Look at all the separation visible between the letters of LIBERTY.

I'll humbly surrender here. I'll add that the MD on "states" and "America" on one of my cents is nearly as radical as that, yet, the forum determined it MD, not DD. I forget the year of the cent right now.
