UPDATE: Just got it back from PCGS with the RPM 501 designation affixed (yay). My first cool discovery. It's now in the pop report (the only PR69 for the 1968s) - no value attached. I assume it has to get sold before it gets a value? I was hoping they'd throw out an estimation, but to no avail. Do you guys know how that's done? Do they track sales and publish the latest value based on that? I'm interested to learn about the process. (I have no intention of selling it, regardless of value)

Thanks for everyone's support. I'm so addicted to reading posts in this community.

If you do have it slabbed, you might add it is a 'discovery piece' plate coin. (If images are posted on their site or in the next publication?)

I told you that you had a very rare proof variety in your possession!
Like I said, the coin is a real game changer for the series, although wouldn't be considered the "Discovery Coin" as Coop suggested since it's not the first known example of that variety.
Who cares!
You now have in your possession something MUCH better, the finest known example of that variety giving it the prestigious title of TOP POP 1/0 with none finer!
And being that it is attributed in a PCGS slab, along with its very low population figures, (only a handful attributed across all grades) it makes it HIGHLY DESIRABLE to the high end Registry set collectors which could easily result in a an all out bidding war if you were to list it in one of Heritages high end, well publicized rare coin auctions they have every year!
Personally I think your setting on a small fortune, I'd put a conservative estimate on it of close to 5 figures if not more.
Just go look up the value of other top pop 1/0 variety coins, it's quite impressive!
Congrats, on the Cherrypick of a lifetime and I'm so glad you followed through and resubmitted the coin!!
WOW! Hell, I'm happy for you!
( *with a pinch of jealousy!)
