Nothing to do if you compare this Ireland 1 penny coin that has just a little RIM Cud with the spectacular Cuds of SILVERNUT , but very happy to have founded today in a bush of world coins.

LUCH070, nice pictures. This is a tough call I would say the rim took a hit
PMD.

Hi bpoc1 : what you see in the picture is ,if you see it with a magnifier, by sure a small piece of the metal of the coin OVER the rim ( like a very small mountain .... ) and I am 100% sure that it wasn´t produced by an instrument or tool or anything else PMD . Maybe the "nice" picture could be at the end a little confused and the Cud can be seen as an incision (inside the rim ) produced by any instrument or something else. But I respect so much your opinion and thanks for it.
