But I am not sure because there is no picture material on the Egypt 8 Reales; only descriptions which are a bit different to this coin. It was originally part of an old Yemeni necklace. So if anyone has some info on it, thanks! realeswatcher Pillar of the Community United States 1962 Posts	Posted 03/17/2016 9:37 pm My understanding is that these were sort of advertising tokens for Cairo, Egypt jewelers... early 1900s, I believe. 38mm (almost standard 8R size) is pretty big compared to the ones I've seen... usually more like a 2 Reales size.
