APMEX is selling 1oz Republic Metals Corporation gold bars at $3.99 over spot on ebay. You can pay with a credit card. If your card has a rebate like mine, your net might actually be less than spot. I bought one for my "gold bars bought at or below spot" collection.

Given my typical luck, I think the selling of gold bars near spot is a sign that gold's about to go down.
