Because lacking of lights, hard to say.
Was the mint luster impaired at any spot both sides?
In such good condition, I will expect full mint luster with cart wheel.
If not, I suspect it is cleaned.

There is luster present, similar to a 1931 s I have that PCGS graded MS64+BN. I mention that because it is "impaired" (my word) by the patina or toning, but definitely is present. I am not an expert, so I use that PCGS coin as a reference. (my only MS slabbed wheat)

you have a very nice 1931 s 64BN, with mint luster shown easily.
For this coin, I am concerned with left part of the obverse. The color is off and it looks to me that the original skin (patina) is rubbed off. Do you see mint luster at this spot?
Rest in Peace

Just pulled it out of the Dansco, cartwheels nicely left side of obverse. I probably just need to adjust the lights a bit to show it. I do appreciate all comments, this will help me be more careful when photographing coins in the future. T-BOP, I had it at 64BN myself, and bought it because I love this type of toning! I see it and can't resist taking it home with me.

64BN. Nicks on shoulder and cheek keep it from 65, imo.
