Not being a massive fan of the Roman coins (there are too many similar coins, too many to complete and I don't feel they have the beauty of Greek coinage) I haven't added any for a while.
That's not to say I haven't been keeping my eyes open for something appealing - I know I should have some Dupondius and Sesterces in my collection but that's another story.

I have been looking out for a Marc Antony that was affordable yet in good enough condition not to haunt my nightmares. I think I found it in this coin.

Marc-Antony-Legionary

If anybody a little more knowledgeable than myself wants to chime in and offer any additional information (Year and catalogue number) I would be much obliged.

Thanks NH, if it is common not sure why they describe it as "rare" but I don't let things like that influence me anyhow. Thanks for the info, I will know what to write on the 2x2 when it arrives :)
Rest in Peace

Nice example. For their historic value as well as relatively easy placement to small date ranges I've always felt these were first class coins.

Very nice! These are so often found worn nearly to smooth. A nice coin with good details that is decently well-centered.
