I picked up a '55 Franklin and a '38 Washington for $9 at an antique
store yesterday. Both are in circulated condition, probably VG or so.

My question is: Is there a premium for the "bugs bunny" in circulated condition and how did I do price wise for both coins.

Incidentally this is the first coins I've bought in over a year. It felt good

You did GREAT considering that is under melt value for both coins! LCS are selling 90% silver at 14-17x face right now... So congrats on that snag! According to PCGS your '55 bugs bunny is around $18 and according to Cherry Pickers, it's rarity is only an R1. GREAT FIND!

Circulated Bugs don't have much extra value, though they are tougher to find. The price you paid was just short of stealing

Good price on that!

You know, I've collected Franklins for some time, and have never picked up a "bugs." Thanks for inspiring my weekend project......find a nice slabbed one!

I forgot to mention, I needed the '38 Washington for my collection, which was very lucky
since I have most of the philly coins in there. Thank you for the input guy's (and gal's)
