Today I received this great looking high grade Lincoln Wheat cent that was struck off center.

The last digit of the date is not struck up. The seller thought it the coin is a 1929.

I'm thinking it's either 1929 or 1926.

What do people think about the date?

Thanks for sharing your opinions.

This is a coin I may consider shipping off the NGC.

Very nice and very scarce, whatever the opinion on the actual date.

I'd say '26 too. Very nice off center.

After further examination under magnification it could also be 1920.

I think it is a 1926 also. That's a nice off-center piece.

Could be just a 192. This would make it really rare since it would be about 2,000 years old.
Ever wonder how it got so worn? Being in circulation long enough to get that much wear makes me wonder about people's ability to notice coins.
