what's wrong wit the lower curvature part. I haven't seen it this fat before. Thanks for your help

1970-S-Penny-Fat-S-Mint-Mark

It's fatter than the rest of the mint mark and looks out of place. Let me know if you don't know what I'm talking about, it's the fatest part of the mint mark.
