Hello everyone,

I have not posted anything for quite a while because I just haven't purchased any coins lately. But here is what I believe to be a roman coin. I know nothing about it I would appreciate it if someone could identify it for me and possibly how old it is.

Thanks,
Michael

It a denarius of the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius 161-180 AD.

Marcus Aurelius with obverse inscription M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXVI which dates the coin to December 171-Dec 172.

Reverse inscription looks like IMP VI COS III. I can't make out the figure on the reverse, but it looks like it could be Minerva standing right with right arm on spear and shield resting against leg.
