This appears to VLDS and I am wondering since there has been more discussion on Die Trails if the flow off at bottom of the devices in America are from the worn die or are they possibly die trails?

Thanks for looking.

Actually the die is a MDS. How do I tell the difference?
1. Note the area between the devices and rim. That area is free of die flow lines. The devices are full with a slight rounded edge on the devices closest to the rim.
2. Note the die scratches on the coin. I see no evidence of light die flow on these fields (LDS) or heavy die flow on the fields (VLDS)

The weakness of the strike on STATES is a common event.

The design of the bust (the thickest part of the design) didn't fill the reverse die to complete the full strike.

Thanks, I am learning so much. So now I know how to tell which links I should be looking at on the coppercoins website - I usually look at everything that is available to see if anything matches.
