The part of the nose doesn't have the black outline that the the varieties have.

Sorry, I'm not anywhere good enough to know how to identify the coin from such a close up, can you please tell me what coin is this? quarter dime, half?

Looks like one of the DDRs to me, did you check the listings?

I did and I compared it to the ones that I do have. It doesn't seem to match them and it looks like not part of the design.

You might try this to see if it is a match to a known die.

It is a DDR. I was looking at it at first and I thought the image was upside down, and then boom my brain figured out what I was looking at.

It is hard to guess the size of the doubling with just part of the image. I took the first die image (because it was a larger view, then converted the nose area to all the same size and moved them onto the fuller image. Then on to the next one. Probably a couple of hours work, but I felt it was needed. Cropped all the sides exactly the same.
