Which software do I install from the EOS Digital "Solution Disk"?

Digital Photo Professional
EOS Utility
Picture Style Editor
imageBrowser EX
PhotoStitch

I am assuming the EOS Sample Music is not necessary?

Thanks!

I use the Utility and DPP. I've never figured out how to put the picture style editor to good use, and I don't generally do stitching but if you want to do a panorama or super high res image you might also install PhotoStitch.

Never listened to the sample music, but maybe it's really good?

Hahaha I'll have to check out the music and write a review for you! :)

Thanks for the info! Could you tell me what the Utility and DPP both do?

Utility this is for your liveview. to tether your camera. you will use your mouse to take the pictures and adjust your camera function with Utility ..DPP this is where your photo will go to for processing and storage. from here you create a folder. after you edit do your photo editing hope this helps. have a great one

Perfect! Ok, I tried installing the EOS Utility into my MacBook Air and got an alert that said "Cannot be used with this version of the operating system". Any idea how to fix that? I know the "liveview" feature is essential and want to figure out how to use it.....

Yup, that worked Mont! I went to the Canon support page, entered the model number of the camera I have, and was able to upload the update for the new Mac OS. Now Liveview is working! Thanks again guys!
