The coin has an interesting die crack that starts in the denticles below the R in dollar. I checked about 30 other uncirculated coins on Heritage and could not find another coin with the same pattern of a die crack. If I could have found another coin with the same die crack, I would have taken a chance and purchased the coin. If this coin is fake, someone put a lot of effort to make this coin appear genuine. Looks genuine to me ... IMHO, it's AU+ ... sharp but scuffy.

Is it my imagination, or could that be a single simple chop mark below the lettering at 2:30 on reverse?

Looks good as far as authenticity, but it looks dipped with some residue remaining.

I've never seen a rectangular chop on a TD, which doesn't make it impossible that it is one. Regardless, it is a distraction.

I don't love this coin. For $550 I would need to love it.

The feature at 2:30 looks like a strikethrough not a chop. In the blown up image it looks shallow, broad and with a textured floor.
