I love the bird series, reminds me of my childhood.
Several times a year my parents, myself, and what ever number of foster children we had living with us at the time, would drive up to see my parents in Cape Breton.
I remember that there was always a King Fisher at one of the sandy beaches. My mother would point it out and tell me that it was the bird on the back of the five dollar bill.
I had a radar once, let me tell you! A group of Mormons used to come by my parents' house so I would invite them in for lemon-aid and what not. They would always give me one of their pamphlets which I would throw on the cupboard or table or what have you.
Anyways one day I found a new, crisp, five dollar radar. I tucked it in the L.D.S. pamphlet for safe keeping until I could find a currency sleeve for it.
Came home with one and my father through out that day's "garbage". I lost the bill...
