Ugh. Tough to tell. I'd go with an 8 rather than a 9, but it's so worn and the picture is so dull it's really hard to be sure.

I compared the picture to my 58' and 59'...I would say it's a 1858 cent but it looks like it's been cleaned.

Well obviously AG, I figured the owners intention was probably to clean it using a wire brush ...didn't really work out haha glad my comment amused you
