They are going to get a lot more traffic than a normal auction so perhaps the seller is smarter than we would think.

Interesting concept and perhaps you are right. The only thing I can think of though, is that if a seller does a keyword search for a particular item and then does a sort by lowest priced first, he or she may never get to this person's auctions due to the listed price. So potentially this could backfire.

He is probably ok since he is in a store format. The listing fees should be very minimal. If he was doing this in a regular auction format, he would be paying somewhere around $5 per listing just to put it up there instead of 50 cents or less.

But after all that, the dates on the coins don't match the description or the auction title, but the pictures are "of the actual coins you will receive".

The two on the left look like 1952, and they sure aren't MS-60 or BU for that matter....

smart idea "if" it generates traffic which it already has...now the coins for that matter don't even match the date being sold---?

What if somebody doesn't look at the rest of the auction and just reports it? Strange method of getting customers though...
