Grabbed this 1897-O for a $23.50 bid. Looks like a VAM-6A to me with the reverse die cracks, O right, date position, etc. Kind of hard to tell a die state from these pictures. Is this the correct attribution? She'll probably get an acetone bath on arrival, looks a bit dirty.

Hard to tell from the photos, but it might be a VAM-6 instead.

It's definitely the VAM-6 die pairing but appears to be slightly pre-6A. Have a look at the last set of full coin plates and explanation on the V6 page. Still a super pick for the money!
