1835 Capped Bust Quarter / CBQ ... You Vs. NGC

Connor Pillar of the Community United States 2130 Posts	Posted 04/02/2016 10:00 am This CBQ completed my second set of slabbed problem free small diameter CBQ's. This quarter has beautiful toning and the pics just don't do it justice. The scratches you may see are on the slab. I believe the the nick below the "A" on the reverse could have possibly held this coin back a grade. There is a small amount of luster left on this quarter as well. Let me know what you think. Connor Pillar of the Community United States 2130 Posts	Posted 04/03/2016 1:39 pm NGC graded this a VF30...I personally think it is a VF35 all day and I have seen some slabbed with a XF40 grade that didn't have the eye appeal that this one has. Report this Post to the Staff
