Hey Guys,

First real post here. Just started collecting coin seriously in the past maybe 6 months. Fell in love the flying eagles, and have accrued a pretty good collection so far. I'm focused on mainly the 1857 type of 1856, and all the clashes.

Which brings me here. I have a pile of Snow-9 (half dollar clashed) coins, and today I finally received my first Snow-8 (quarter clashing)! I'm thrilled with it, and wanted to ask the community what they thought the value of it is. I don't have my own pictures yet (just received on my desk a few minutes ago), but it's ANACs listed = Reg.# 1509684:
http://www.anacs.com/Populations/Ce...cert=1509684

There are pictures they show, but they are not coming up right now.

Anyway, what would such a coin be worth these days? (I'll get pics up asap), ballpark?

Thanks, and great site!

Cool pick ups. There are knowledgeable Flying Eagle and Indian Head cent variety folks here at CCF that may have some ideas as to value.

to the CCF too.

Thanks!
I paid $100 for it. I think given it's condition and rarity, it should be worth a little more. However, I'll likely hang on to this one for a while.
I have roughly 30+ of the Snow-9 clashes, and probably about 30+ of the type 1856.
Would love to get my hands on the Snow-7!

I'm having a hard time determining what it's value is. They seem to generally go in the $200-$300 range from what I've seen on ebay.
