Hi All,

Looking into getting some Roman Coins and found this seller on the bay. Has anyone bought from them in the past? What is your opinion on them.
Seller name: ancient_treasures

Thank you.

I bought one lot from them before one of those coins is posted in the "whose pretty mug is this" thread a few lines down.

The coins were genuine, but harshly cleaned and polished. Many were polished almost to slugs.

The individual coins look OK, but I have no clue how much competition you may have on those.

What sort of coins are you looking to get? My specialty is hunting for bargains in medium to large lots, but I don't have as much experience with individual coin sales.

IMO your best bet is not to buy on ebay though there are some good dealers there. Chek out Vcoins, I'm sure you can find what your looking for there. https://www.vcoins.com/en/Default.aspx

Thanks for the link Echizento.
