It would be a good idea IF, and only IF, there would be no 10c either, thus the lowest denomination is 25c. What's true is that the Australian coinage needs a revamp but NOT by changing the denominations. I also think 25c rounding is far too high for the current state of the currency.

Most countries do NOT have a 25 denomination.
The 20 is much more common.
Look at the Euro for example.

No thanks.

I do find it kind of strange that the US has refused to go metric but have been using decimal currency since 1792. The "quarter dollar" however would seem to fit the definition of a non decimal coin.

Would the NCLT 25c coins being produced as part of the Anzac offer even be considered legal tender?

They are definitely legal tender, but I don't recommend putting them into circulation unless you want me to noodle one.

got my 25 cents OUR LEGENDS coin today and not very happy with the grade MS 64 IF I AM LUCKY
