Seller pictures -- grade this 1803 Half Cent. It has some central reverse roughness/porosity, and light overall porosity on the obverse, but otherwise, fairly attractive considering it's 213 years old. Can't tell on color from his pictures. VG, Net G due to porosity.

I almost pulled the trigger on this one earlier today. It was at $55 and one lone bid. I like the coin but decided to wait and spend my ebay bucks on something else. I think it makes G6 shot at VG.

I'll see how it looks in hand. RK. I had to think about it quite a bit before bidding. Was surprised that I did not get out bid overnight.

I think it will look nice in hand. it does have eye appeal if you ask me. I was going to throw a bid up of 57.50 since it was free shipping.
I also was surprised there were no last second snipes....I fully expected that there would be.

Good-6 sharpness porous, which in this grade does not concern me that much. The die variety is Cohen 2 which is common. The naked eye diagnostic for the variety is the bulge under "18" in the date.
The Chinese have copied this variety and one of their minions got it into a PCGS slab. Since your coin is genuine it's a million times better than that hunk of junk.

In-hand. Acetone dip and then a soak in Verdi-Care to protect & condition surface.
