Morgan Dollar, Beautiful Coin Sporting Some Serious Bag Marks

MS60 and 61 coins are technically uncirculated but they tend to be dogs at that grade level. In many cases, an AU55/58 is much more eye appealing than a 60/61 simply due to the heavy bagmarks it takes to get those low Unc grades.

This is really interesting, thanks. I wonder when the Morgans (like this 1921) emerged from the vaults to be sold. In the 70s? Is it safe to assume this coin set in a vault somewhere for fifty years, doing a whole lot of nothing? Not a very exciting life!
