I've completed a NCLT collection, do you know what it might be? Some clues: The full collection consists of: only sterling silver with 24k gold plating. includes every NCLT coin ever issued by RCM in that same denomination. in total, cost less than $200.10 to complete.

No, the total number of NCLT in my full collection is somewhat smaller than that of a 50c NCLT collection.
Good guess though.

This particular type of NCLT collection might be particularly of interest to new collectors. Some people collect only NCLT silver dollars, others only NCLT pennies for example which can take quite a lot of time and effort to accumulate. This collection from beginning to end is very achievable, yet somewhat unique.
There's no denying the feeling of accomplishment in completing a set, that's what gets collectors hooked.

Quote:includes every NCLT coin ever issued by RCM in that same denomination. This one elimenates every "usual" denomination. Or the condition is wrong. RCM issued not many 5cent and 10cent coins, but taking in account "Big Coin" series, it couldn't cost less than CAD 200. So the probaly answer is 3 cent coin, but there is only one as I remember Item ID = 131774755618the other possibility 3 dollars coin, but here, if you meant the "square" coins, you forgot, that RCM issued many of $3 coins that in total will be more than CAD 200.

Oh so close, leaving that one for next year. LOL! Quote:So the probaly answer is 3 cent coin, but there is only one as I remember Item ID = 131774755618 Yes that's it! Good guessing! Indeed, my completed collection is of the 3-cent denomination, consisting of ONE. The only 3-cent coin ever minted by RCM was in 2001. The cost to accumulate a 3-cent collection is about $20 - $25. It looks like this:

These will be not easy to collect, due to the fact, that some coins have black toning on the edge because of black foam insert, and the sellers sometimes do not mention it and if do mention - ask high price. Quote:Indeed, my completed collection consists of ONE 2001 3-cent coin, the only 3-cent coin ever minted by RCM. Congrats for this!! I think, this small coin is beautiful and exceptional....too bad I do not like the stamps.

Congrats on completing your set! Your statement that the set cost less than $200.10 was a red herring that threw me. The 3cent coin can be had for less than $20. I thought maybe you got lucky on a set of the $3 coins.

@ Silveroid Thanks for the advice on the $3, something to watch out for. I like to collect odd and unusual NCLT, interesting or unique. As for the 3c, I'm not partial to stamps either. But the coin is removable, and so the entire 3-cent collection will fit nicely in one quadrum holder. I'm not expecting I will ever require a storage case to house this 3-cent collection but one never predict what RCM has in store for the future.

Thank you, it's a collection that's most definitely very achievable! lol! Yes less than $200.10 and the year 2001 was a clue, less than $2001.00 left a whole lot of room. Thanks to everyone who participated!
