Have a look at the edge of this coin I do not know what to make of it. Is this some kind of error ? What is this edge supposed to look like . It almost seems like the planchet did not get fully struck or is a slight bit small as the marks go pretty well around the whole coin. Can some one explain ? Thanks for looking, hope I have this in the right thread.

Anybody know what is going on here? Maybe the mods can move to error section. It seems that something is wrong with the edge of this coin, any help is appreciated .

Not much of an error imo, I have plain edge silver coins like that too.

Thanks for the link SlurExe97. I am trying to get a look at a similar coin to see if this common to this coin.

Poor quality control, a coin looking like that should have be remelted, not sold.

I have two of them that are identical to yours. They are not worth any premium.

Thanks darryl, that settles that for me. Have to agree on the poor QC at the RCM. Disappointing to say the least.

Its what called "real coin", unlike the pop stuff. But the mask, yes, not pretty :)

I found that the 2 coins I have and also the grandmother moon mask coin I have seem to have a different thickness depending on what part of the rim you look at. I haven't taken them out of the capsules to actually measure them but it doesn't seem uniform.
