All started out BU. The first one maybe stained. The second one has a fingerprint on it. (that will haunt the rest of its days) The last on just looks like a normal coin. Salt from hands from sweat, oil from foods eaten, getting stuff split that have an acidic base will alter the color. Most of the time it is permanent. Saliva and sneeze droplets will turn a coin a different color. Often not a good thing.
