So I get that there are small date and large date varieties, but in the collection/hoard I am sorting there are 14 full rolls of 1960 D. Some labelled small date, some labelled large date, some not labelled. From what I can find, and frankly from the fact that there are 14 rolls of them, I gather not a terribly rare find. Any earthly reason to save these? The ones I've opened appear to be in average condition, nothing special.

If those were mine, I'd take them to my bank and add to my checking account. I would save any that appear to be UNC. Otherwise not much value.
HOWEVER, there are some small dates over large dates and large dates over small dates to keep.

Check for RPM's and varieties. I would not keep them because of being Denver lg or sm. I would keep the 1960 sd not the 60-d sd.The 60-p is the one that's hard to find CRH in sd.
