it is normal for some, how are you storing them?

I have mint sets from '53 to 2015. The sets from the '50's have some toning in different places, perhaps because they are all in OGP.

Right now it's good. The market is hot for toned coins.

I too have seen a lot of blue nickels.

As was mentioned, it might be how the coins are stored.

Not sure if it is OGP, I have a 1958 BU roll that all the coins have
a light blue tone.

Did you open them from the original yellow envelopes or were they already opened?... If you opened them from the original envelope, hate to tell you that they are probably worth more sealed then opened...

I see unopened sets go twice the price (if not more) than opened sets on auction sites...

Maybe someone with more experience can opine on this if true...

Bryan, yes, sets in OGP are worth more then opened or 'put together' sets.
It is one true way you can tell they are the original mint coins.

Though, you have to be careful, some eBayers will sell you a SEALED box saying it has never been opened. I had a friend get burned by that, he didn't open the box until I told him why he should open it. It had coins all right, but they weren't the original's , some had been cleaned... a 1936 OGP set goes for a chunk of change.
All my OGP sets are just that, but the boxes are opened....

The site I see them on is not ebay... I would never buy from ebay so I don't even go on the website...
