That is machine damage during the strike. There is probably also some on the reverse of the coin that you missed. Note how it is reduced at the outer edge of the jaw? A sure sign of MD. Also the same color in that area? The tells me it is flat. A normal device is contoured, yours is now altered in that area from MD.
