Hi everybody !wanted to share what interesting coin I found today .... It Was mixed with other cents in a roll , there is nothing minted that can tell the date, I think it's pos 1982 due the metal

Yup, it's a Type 2 blank (it has rims) that has never been struck. Amazing to find in circulation.

Actually that is incorrect a bit. Type 1 is called a blank. Type 2 is called a planchet.
