Hello guys,

I'm having trouble identifying a certain coin. My guess would be Iran. I hope someone can help me find out where it's from (and what it is)

Regards
Johan

Hi Johan, and welcome! The image at the center of your second picture is the national emblem of the Sultinate of Oman. The odd dagger that turns 90 degrees in the middle is a khanjar, the traditional dagger of Oman. I'm sure someone else here will recognize which specific coin this is from Oman.

This coin, actually. It is very similar to the one in the above link, but is not quite the same (look at the spacing between the top and bottom words around the swords). Your coin's date is 1410, which is 1990 in the Gregorian calendar.
