Oh no, Chuck. This was in NO way directed towards you at all. I agree with you 100% that die cracks, machine doublings, and other "non-error" coins are pretty much worthless to most collectors, although there are some who are willing to pay a buck or two for a decent one. I might even put this one on e-bay to see if someone does bid on it.
I'm pretty much still a rookie at this game, and I'm pretty much just a roll hunter more than anything. I know that limits my findings to luck, but that's the chance I'm willing to take. The only things I've found worth a hoot were three 1998 wide-am's, one 2000 wide-am, and a 1988 rdv-006. Collecting coins is not a job to me, but a fun hobby. (My job is to protect the state of North Carolina from escaping prisoners!)
