So I thought this would be a fun and educational game to try out. The epic prize is all we get to see and learn! The rules are fairly simple. I will post a coin and the next person to post will have to post a coin with at least 2 of the following 5 attributes that are the same as the coin I posted. The next person will have to match 2 of 5 for the coin posted directly before them and so on.

Year- worth 2 attributes if used alone.
Mint Mark- the mint mark or lack thereof must represent same mint location.
Face Value- must match denomination regardless of numeric value.
Country of Origin
Metal composition

Please label under your coin on a line by itself with all these attributes, as well as Coin ###, in sequence so we can keep track of how far we go. I'll post Coin #1, the next person coin #2, next coin would be #3 and so on. See my example below.

***Anyone can play.***
***You must follow forum rules.***
***You must own the coin you post when you post it.***
***You can't post two coins in a row. You can post unlimited times a day. ***
***You can't post a coin you have already posted in this thread. Ever.***
***If you do break one of the rules(i.e. Coin doesn't match), it will be treated like a skip card and you can't further the Coin count for 48 hrs from the time the mistake being caught. You can still join in conversations, of course. Anyone can call skip on someone as long as they have reason.***
***while not required, feel free to include a story/stories about your coin, where you got it, fun fact about it, famous coins like it, ect. ***
***This game only ends when no one plays, say after 2 weeks. ***

I think that about covers everything. We can change rules if needed. I hope we all have fun and I can wait to see more coins and learn new things!!
Namaste
GC

Coin #1, 1953-D dime, USA, 90/10% silver/copper

I score this nice silver out of a drawer at work, the latest addition of my current silver streak. Nice to know they are still out there looking for homes.
Who's going to be coin #2?

Don't collect Quarters...just got this in change today. RedBook values these in MS higher than most, so I figured I would hold on to it. Might be worth something to my kids.

Mont I think you had a slight image error. Or that's the rarest quarter I've never heard of.

Instead of the obverse of the quarter, you have a Wheat cent reverse...
