This is essentially a psychological test, so the rules will seem strange. The 250th different member to post on here, who has at least 50 quality posts, wins a roll of great wheat cents, with a lot of early dates. You may only post once ever. It seems strange because it is strange, I'm cataloging the responses & want to see the outcome.

They would sell for 1 zloty each in Poland anyway, so it's better you don't send them to me!

Christopher, it is sort of sorted & sort of unsorted... I own about 10,000 wheat cents from 1909-1958. I buy lots such as 1000 1940s-D mint, 450 1910-1939 mixed mint marks, two unsorted rolls, emptied out coin folders, wheat cents I occasionally find from Coin Roll Hunting, extra wheat cents from mixed lots, 500 cent lots of mostly 50s (like the new one today I picked up), & whatever else. I've bought on ebay probably 15-20 Wheat cent lots (for resale), so it's very mixed. Here's what a handful of randomly chosen wheats produce: 1946 1944-D 1951-D 1951-D 1953-S 1944-D 1930 1941-S 1953 1946 1956-D AU 1942-D 1926 1947-D 1942 1940 1942-D 1935 1944-D 1944 1958-D 1945 1946-D 1938 1953-D 1952-D 1949 1944 1944 1950 1954-D 1951-D 1943-D (steel) 1957-D BU 1936 1941 1927 1944 1947-S 1920 1947-S 1935 1918 1918 1949-D 1929 1951 1949-D 1941-D 1947-D 1930 1945-D 1942-D 1930 1945-D 1957-D BU 1937 1919-S 1955-S 1934 1951-D

I'm in. In regards this being "a psychological test" - is this related to earlier post about whether we are insane for being coin collectors and spending vast sums of money over face value for a coin or hoarding vast quantities of Lincoln wheat cents?

I don't need them, so I will help inch this forward to 250. I doubt it will get there.

One more down, a bunch more to go. It will be interesting to see who #250 is. I feel bad for #249.

Et tu, Brute? Then fall, Caesar.
While I love wheaties, someone else can use them more than me.

I'll take one for the team.
If the thread were to stall out, I'd recommend allowing one post / entry per (day / week / month) to move it along.
