There ended up being a couple hundred of these '82s to go through and after they're piled, my routine is to pick each one up (reverse facing up), flip it to check for rotation before using the loupe for the each side of the coin. The second coin I picked up, I flipped and it the Queen was upside down - I was over the moon. Then, after a few not-so-silent cheers, I looked again to see that I had picked the coin up with the reverse upside down Needless to say, when I found this guy around 150 coins in, I checked it quite a few times to make certain I hadn't made the same mistake. The photo is from the GBA Facebook page.

I am looking for a full 180 rotated die error coin now. Cannot seem to find one. Even 90* would suffice.

Saw this coin in hand at Coin Expo. MS-60 grade, shame about the ding marks, but pretty cool nonetheless!!

Those dings are big, but the rest of the coin is clean (really clean) and it has really nice lustre. I wouldn't be surprised if it graded a little higher than 60. I sure wouldn't mind owning it.
SPP, did you get a chance to look at the error dime?

Quote: SPP, did you get a chance to look at the error dime? You mean the 11-cent? I did, most definitely _not_ legit. Some real double struck coins were shown to Brian, and I think he agreed with me. I told Brian, to submit it to PCGS, for their opinion.
