I've never looked. Most 1900H cents I get are thrown directly into a box/tube without even a glance.

So there may be a few in your tubes/box Okie. I'd no idea either that this crack exists, on C&C there's a pic but no Zoell reference to it, so perhaps unattributed. The crack is kind of "Y" in shape as it continues under the letter "R" through the beads towards GRATIA.
You're welcome aswag, glad you like it.

Thanks Alex, yeah a pretty awesome die crack. I wonder how many others are out there......could be lot's bein hoarded. Or there's not too many. The holders of them I'm sure are tight lipped if any. I can't think of any other DC that's so strong in the vickie series. If so please someone show me. Cheers Jon

I have two of these coins one in the same state as the OP and one that's a little earlier. Being just one die they're not all that plentiful but you can still find them. I posted my coins on the old CCC site and it was determined the die eventually broke and minted coin in the broken state. This can be clearly seen in the late die states as the crack around the R in Regina will eventually be at two different levels as shown on M-d-in-guy's coin. I really like these... congrats on a great find Cheers, Bill

Thanks Bill, yes this one has become one of my fav's in the die cracks I've collected. As Bill mentioned about the die actually breaking, and yes in hand that section is higher than the rest of the coin, it's similar to a rectangle stemming from the right side of the "I" in Gratia, below the denticles and through the beads to the arrow point in the "R" as shown below. There's also another DC started between the "NA" below the bust as shown. Sorry about the blur in the pics,

Bill, could you post a pic of your coin with the same DC? If anyone else has one of these feel free to post your pic here of it. Cheers Jon

Thanks Okie for checking and maybe one will find it's way to you some day lol. Hounddog Bill, when you posted your coins on the old CCC site did any other coins in this late stage get posted besides your's? Correction/////apparently there were 3.6 million minted and 2.6 million were awarded to Heaton mint. Here's a good little read on the 1900H. http://victorialargecents.blogspot....h-1900h.html1,000,000 were minted for 1900, H/nonH combined, would it be fair to say a 50/50 split on production? There is one pictured on C&C site, the one you have Bill, and mine. 3 so far and as you mentioned they are available but not plenty. All the above being said I'm curious as to the pop of this one. I'm going to do some research on this and see if I can come up with some numbers. If anyone has info to offer, pics, known coins, info of any kind, if you would be kind enough to share it, greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jon

Hi SPP, I'm sorry I missed the show also but I had things I couldn't get out of this time. Here's my other coin that's in the later die state. About two years ago I saw one of these on ebay ICCS graded AU50 no mention of the die crack, I regret not buying it now but at the time I thought it was overpriced. Edited to add one more picture. Cheers, Bill

Bill with your's I'd say it is a later stage than mine, as the marker crack between N and A is more defined on yours, the same obverse die was used. I saw one Gidjit had posted here about a year ago, it was combined with a die clash, so later state than both here. I'm going to see if he still has the coin. https://goccf.com/t/196157
