Some nice high value coins I recently acquired. The Italian coin is a good example of the differences in global numismatic markets. My kraus catalog lists it at $95 in VF and $200 in XF, but one in virtually the same grade just sold on ebay.it for 350 euros.
I haven't been able to find a comparable Irish 3 pence with visible whiskers for price comparison yet.

Great coins. What is the denomination of the DR silver?

Also, my Krause says that 2 Centesimi goes $160 VF and $380 XF.

That's strange that we're using the same catalog with such a difference. I have the 2006 version, could it have increased that much in just 2 years?

The DR coin is a 25 centavos.

Thanks!

My wife gave me a years subscription to Numismaster for Christmas and I'm pulling the price right off of that. Honestly, Krause was long overdue for updating their price info. I'm not sure if that's a good thing for the educated buyer though...
