1917 Buffalo Nickel , Die Clash? Please Take A Look

dohcollector Valued Member Belgium 464 Posts	Posted 04/25/2016 06:51 am hello CCF couple of days ago I read a thread about a die clash on a 1916 or '18 Buffalo nickel. I tryed looking for it but I could't find it. for some reason. A pair of dies can clash, the clash can wear away or be polished off and then clash again. Or two different die pairs can clash and they will look pretty much identical. A pair of dies reates one variety. Those dies can clash, crack, get worn, be repolished, in rare cases even get touched up, but all the coins from that die pair are the same variety.
