I did see a 1874 25c A/V variety mentioned in the 2008 Charlton Catalogue 25c Variety section, as originally described in 2006 in a CCRS post.

I never saw one until a recent Heritage Auctions auction.

I was curious if this was the die pair.

No you didn't.
Look again.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

DBM...This is still the 1872H 25c A/V Type 1 (with N/N in CANADA) Correct?
