Hi Guys & Gals,

I have come across this collection of coins & was wondering if they have been identified correctly?

Cheers Brenton.

The coins in the first image all look Chinese.

Going from top to bottom, left column, then right column:

Tian Xi Tong Bao
Tian Sheng Yuan Bao
Zhi Dao Yuan Bao
Xiang Fu Tong Bao
Hong Wu Tong Bao
Jing De Yuan Bao

I'd have to refer to the Schjoth catalogue, but they look about right.

As far as I know such sets were sold to tourist and were cheap, the bad thing about them is, that they are almost nothing worth today. Still the work of identifying these coins is reason enough to buy them as this alone is more worth than the value of the pieces, which are generally common and widely available.
