trout1105 Pillar of the Community Australia 7096 Posts	Posted 04/28/2016 02:58 am The Ali Bronze coins are rather "Malleable" and I very much doubt that there would be a lamination problem with this type of metal that would causes the coin to split. shanew Pillar of the Community Australia 1041 Posts	Posted 04/28/2016 05:49 am I think the $2 and $1 the same metal mix and I have a split $2 pair ..so there is a chance of a split $1 ...but I cant find one ..so maybe its not found yet sitting in someone's jar ...one day I will finish my set ..........
